My 5 Favorite Pastel Paint Colors

IMG_1555.jpeg

It seemed appropriate with Easter and Spring on the horizon to share my five favorite pastel paint colors.

Pink - Benjamin Moore 883 Shell Pink

Often my favorite place to use pastel colors is on the ceiling. I have used this sweet pink on the walls, but by far my favorite place I have used it is on my powder room ceiling. Pink is such a flattering color. Shell Pink gives my powder room (which has no natural light) a soft glow.

Blue/Green - Benjamin Moore HC147 Woodlawn Blue

Unknown-1.jpeg

I have used Woodlawn Blue in some capacity in the last three homes that I have lived in - so I’ve lived with it for at least 20 years. I like it best on on the ceiling mixed half strength. Always consider mixing colors half or even quarter strength when you are using them on the ceiling. They will always read darker than you think they will.

Soft Blue - Benjamin Moore 715 In Your Eyes

Benjamin Moore’s 715 In Your Eyes is more of a true ice, baby blue than the HC147.

Lavender - Benjamin Moore 2109-60 Portland Gray

It is really hard to tell from this picture, but trust me Portland Gray is a beautiful, soft, sophisticated lavender.

Green - Benjamin Moore 117 Hancock Green

This soft green adds an organic feel to any interior. It is a neutral that looks great with woods of all colors. I love how it gives a cozy feel to this living room.

Benjamin Moore is in no way sponsoring this post. I just happen to love their paint and have had great luck with it over the years. Thanks so much for stopping by!
